Abstract

The study is about model of human resource planning, the process by which organizations anticipate future staffing needs and plan programmes to ensure that the correct number and type of employees are available when they are needed. The study adopted literature survey method to gather information from the past researches related to this area of the present investigation. The study revealed that model of human resource planning include collecting information, forecast demand and supply of human resources, plan and conduct needed programmes, and feedback on planning process. The study also recommended that human resource planners should be aware of labour-market conditions such as unemployment rates, skill availabilities, and the age distribution of the labour force.
