Abstract

In this study, the spotlight was on issues bordering in internal and external human resources recruitment in organizations. The study reviewed past works in the above areas of the research to gather necessary information. The information obtained were analyzed qualitatively. The study noted that the most commonly used system for internal recruitment is that of job posting and bidding. Also, external recruiting methods are often grouped into two classes: informal and formal. The study recommended that the first decision an organization should make in filling a vacancy is to seek current employee through internal recruiting or seek a new hire from the external labour market.
