INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT AND ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS IN MANUFACTURING BANKS IN RIVERS STATE

Abstract

Few authors have explored that the critical information required by midlevel and strategic level management is efficiently provided by information security management strategy (Karim, 2016).
Meanwhile, many researches on information security management strategy (Chen, Shaw & Yang, 2015; Karim, 2016) have deliberated that the limitations and deficiencies such as lack of access control of information, inadequate information security awareness and inadequate back up technologies in the process of information security management strategies are the major reasons for diminishing the organizational effectiveness of manufacturing firms in Nigeria.
