Abstract

Noise is an environmental pollutant that damages hearing over many years of exposure. Noise is a common occupational hazard and is the major cause of hearing loss in adults in the industrialised world. The study aimed at assessing noise pollution and its effect on the health of Port Harcourt refining company workers at the workplace.
