Abstract

This study explored the influence of organizational incentives on teacher’s academic performance in university secondary school students in Rivers State. Data was collected through structure questionnaire from sampled respondents in the studied universities in Rivers state. The finding revealed that, there is a significant relationship between organizational incentives and teacher’s academic performance in university secondary school students in Rivers State. Based on that, it’s recommended that, monetary and nonmonetary incentives should always be given to teachers for optimal performance. Besides, organizations should set up policy for performance evaluate with corresponding incentive.
