THE ROLE OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT IN THE CURRENT ERA OF GLOBALIZATION.

Abstract

This study examined the role of educational management in the current era of globalization Educational Management is defined as a field of study and practice derived from management principles. Scientific management theory of Fredrick W. Taylor was used in the study. Functions of educational management as used in the study include planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. Concepts of technology, and globalization were also reviewed in the study. The study concluded that educational management has gone far beyond classroom management since it now has an online presence, therefore its role in the correct era of globalization cannot be over-emphasized.
